For the Winter 2019 issue of B’yachad, baby blue became the color of the women leaders of Jewish philanthropy. The composition is airy and elegant but still playful. The featurwell consisted of a series of interviews with women making a change both within JNF and its network of affiliates. All portraits were made black and white and even in size in order to communicate the equal importance of all the women featured, plus maintain visual cohesion. The images in full color are of the work and projects that they make happen through their collaboration with JNF.
The word B’yachad means ‘Together’ in Hebrew and is also the name of Jewish National Fund’s tri-annual publication. Its content centers around the organization’s latest projects and the people they benefit. It has the largest circulation of any Jewish-American newsletter and is mailed to over 800,000 homes each year.
