The Negev Desert in Southern Israel was the main focus of the Summer 2018 issue of B’yachad. The majority of JNF’s projects are in this region, as part of their Blueprint Negev campaign. The ‘New Wave’ refers to the tremendous urban growth of the area, which has become a tech hub in the country. How does a developing city face fast change while also striving preserving its past? The gradient type and sunset tones are allegorical to new beginnings.
The word B’yachad means ‘Together’ in Hebrew and is also the name of Jewish National Fund’s tri-annual publication. Its content centers on the organization’s latest projects and the people they benefit. It has the largest circulation of any Jewish-American newsletter and is mailed to over 800,000 homes each year.
